Terms and Conditions

The identifying information of the owner and service provider is detailed and available for consultation in our Legal Notice. Creating an account or using the application means accepting these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Legal Notice.

The service is intended for people aged 18 or older. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

VestFin is a personal finance organisation tool for recording and reviewing income, expenses, budgets, trips, savings, net worth and investments. Data is entered manually by the user; VestFin does not currently connect to bank accounts.

VestFin is not a banking, investment, accounting, legal or tax advisory service. Calculations and tax estimates are for guidance only and should be checked with a qualified professional before making decisions.

• Provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• Keep your password, email account and devices secure.
• Do not share access or attempt to access another person’s account.
• Notify us through Contact if you suspect unauthorised access.

You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of the financial information you enter and for keeping any exported files secure.

VestFin offers Standard and Complete plans, with monthly or annual billing. The features, current prices and included taxes are those displayed on the website and at checkout before purchase.

New accounts may receive a 30-day free trial. The checkout will state whether a payment method is required and when the first charge will occur. If the trial is cancelled before a scheduled first charge, no subscription charge will be made.

Paddle acts as merchant of record and authorised reseller for paid subscriptions. Paddle processes the payment, issues the invoice, calculates applicable taxes and manages payment-related refunds and fraud prevention. VestFin does not store complete card details.

Paid plans renew automatically for the selected monthly or annual period unless cancelled before renewal. The price and renewal date will be shown at checkout and in the subscription information.

The payment transaction is also subject to Paddle’s Checkout Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy.

You may cancel a subscription at any time. Unless mandatory law or the checkout conditions provide otherwise, editing access continues until the end of the paid period. Afterwards, the account becomes read-only: you may continue viewing your history and exporting it to Excel, but you cannot add or modify financial records.

When moving from Complete to Standard, investment information remains available in read-only mode. Payment refunds are processed by Paddle in accordance with its buyer terms and the mandatory consumer rights applicable in each case.

You must not:

• Use VestFin for illegal, fraudulent or abusive activity.
• Probe, bypass or interfere with authentication, security or account isolation.
• Introduce malware, overload the service or automate abusive requests.
• Copy, resell or commercially exploit the application without authorisation.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with the law or stop a serious breach of these Terms.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but maintenance, third-party incidents or technical failures may cause interruptions. We do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Personal data is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. Each account’s financial records are associated with its authenticated user. Users retain ownership of the information they enter and may export it using the tools provided by VestFin.

VestFin may permanently discontinue the service for business, technical or legal reasons. VestFin will notify affected users at least 30 days in advance and will state the effective closure date.

New purchases and renewals will be suspended when the closure is announced. Users will be able to access the service and export their data until the date stated in the notice.

If an annual subscription includes paid time after the effective closure date, VestFin will refund the unused portion on a proportional daily basis, calculated from the amount paid by the user. Monthly subscription renewals will be cancelled and, when the paid period ends before closure, access will continue at no additional cost until the effective service closure date.

After closure and once the notified export period has ended, data may be permanently deleted, except for information that must be retained to comply with a legal obligation. This clause does not affect any mandatory consumer rights.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, providers or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice where required. Changes will not retroactively remove rights already acquired.

Spanish law applies, without prejudice to mandatory protections available to consumers in their country. Disputes will be submitted to the courts determined by applicable consumer law.
